Items needed for the chili:

One sliced red bell pepper
One pound (450 grams) of ground beef.
One teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of black pepper
One teaspoon of ground cumin
One teaspoon of paprika
Ground coriander, 1 teaspoon
Half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (modify for the degree of heat)
1 tsp chili powder (spiciness can be adjusted)

One 14-ounce can Rinsed and drained kidney beans
One cup of water or beef broth
One teaspoon of optional sugar to moderate the acidity
Worcestershire sauce (one teaspoon)

Directions:
The aromatics are sautéed:
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chopped onion for five minutes, or until it becomes tender. Cook for one more minute after adding the garlic.
Cook the Beef: Using a spoon, break up the ground beef after adding it to the saucepan. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until browned. Drain any excess fat if needed.
Add the salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, coriander, cayenne, and chili powder to make it mspicier. o bring out the flavors, cook for a minute.
Create the sauce by adding the tomato paste and giving it a good swirl. Next, add the kidney beans, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, canned tomatoes, knd dark chocolate, if using.
Simmer: Lower the heat to low and, while stirring occasionally, let the chili simmer uncovered for at least half an hour. The flavors will develop better the longer it cooks.
Adjust Seasoning: If necessary, add extra salt, pepper, or chili powder after tasting.
Serve the chili with tortilla chips or by spooning it over rice. Add lime wedges, fresh cilantro, cheese, and sour cream as garnish.
